Well it all started in 1979
building a one car garage at the trash dump on the top of the hill where the farm parked its
junk cars and trucks, rocky lot with pine tree.

Worked on fixing my volkswagens
and selling them at the end of the driveway, bought a lot of cars from Montgomery County impound
1983 Kevin and Rodney come to work part time
1983 installed roll up door, added on to the rear with a wood stove for heat
1983 got my 1974 chevy C30 holmes wrecker tow truck
Frederick County Zoning found me in 1983 along with the MVA, zoning violation
1984 Legislated zoning for Auto Repair in the Agricultural District, gets approved
after appeal
1984 Kevin Graduates, working full time summer
of 1984, Rodney starts full time in the fall
1985
the 1 car Garage burns down
February 1985
1985 moved to Reichsford
Rd and worked out of the back of a body shop for 8 months
1985
August, new building is done on the farm and we move in
1986
waste oil furnace installed
1986 Started towing for Maryland
State Police with 1986 F350 rollback and c30 Chevy Wrecker

Rita comes to work as receptionest, leaves in 1990
1987
Kevin gets Married
1988 Have 5 boys from Frederick VoTech
center working that summer
1990 Purchase f350 4x4 NoMar
wheel lift wrecker, needed to tow newer VWs
1991 expanded
lot on west side of building
1993 Purchase white f450
rollback, no turbo
1993 purchase property in Woodsboro
for Automobile sales 5 Council Dr
1995 Mark gets married
1996 new tow trucks, 4x4 wrecker and f450 rollback, still in service
1996 office moves to north side of building
1996 incorporated
1998
Harold Joe Burrier dies, owner of the farm, Oldest son Bobby takes over
2001 started selling on eBay
2002 bang head against
wall for the next 15 years
Kevin and Rodney are still
working here, just the 3 of us now
2017
we are now the guys who have forgotten more than you will know about VWs
2019 was a decent year, November 1 marked 40 years, should have quit..
2020 is crazy, still holding on, vw club started that summer due to lack of VW shows
2021 made it through
2022 here goes another year
